STUDENT EXPERIENCE

Students at Clark Fork Prep will have opportunities to connect with both the familiar and the new. Because the CFP student body will come from all over the Missoula Valley–from Potomac to Target Range, Florence to the North Side–we will embody a diverse set of backgrounds, experiences, and goals. But we also share some basic principles: a curiosity for learning, a belief in the power of community, and a passion for this beautiful place we call home. The end result? The CFP student experience!

As a preparatory high school, CFP is committed to guiding students toward success. We do this in a variety of ways:

  • Our faculty has designed a Program of Study that prepares students for their futures, whatever those might be.

  • Clark Fork Prep promises a low student-to-teacher ratio.

  • Each teacher values meaningful and consistent use of class time.

  • At every grade level, students will be met with both high expectations and adequate support to meet those expectations.

  • The school community aims to hit the “sweet spot” in terms of size: big enough for students to make new and varied peer connections, but small enough to be responsive to individual needs.

From athletics to academics to service engagement, the CFP student experience will be both extensive and transformative. And regardless of where they go after they leave Clark Fork Prep, our students will draw on these experiences to navigate the next leg of their journeys.
