PROGRAM OF STUDY

Our Program of Study comprises courses from the major academic disciplines: mathematics, science, social studies, English language arts, fine arts, and world language. The coursework–designed by experienced and creative faculty–is sophisticated, thoughtful, and intentional. CFP classes reflect the needs of the students, the expertise of the teachers, and the zeitgeist of the moment. At Clark Fork Prep, students encounter relevant courses taught by dynamic teachers in an academic setting centered around curiosity, creativity, and engagement.

What does this look like? On a given day, Creative Writing students might be workshopping their poetry outside on picnic tables while a group of AP Environmental Science kids heads to Rattlesnake Creek to gather stream data with WEN. Inside, in an English class, students discuss the magical realism of Fools Crow, and in a neighboring room, the sophomore chemistry class completes an inquiry-based lab into titrations.

With the support of dedicated teachers and a carefully designed Program of Study, Clark Fork Prep students engage in rigorous, provocative, and meaningful academic work.

GRADUATING FROM CFP

Upon graduation, Clark Fork Prep students will fulfill or exceed the state of Montana’s graduation requirements; additionally, graduates will meet admissions course requirements for competitive colleges and universities throughout the nation. Our academic design follows Cognia accreditation standards and is intended to equip students for whatever they choose to pursue after high school.
